I own a samsung mobile model e1410 guru. I bought a USB data cable. When I connect it to the pc, the mobile shows "USB Cable attached", but my pc doesn’t recognise it. Do I need to download some kind of software to access my mobile. If so, please post a link for the software.

You need the Samsung PC Suite. Go to the http://www.samsungmobile.com website and download it from there.
